Discover life beyond the facade

As you step into the narrow lanes of the slum, you’ll be welcomed into private homes, revealing the stark reality of life both above and below ground.

These visits are more than just observational; they’re an opportunity for heartfelt interaction through Q&A sessions with the locals.

Hear their stories, share in their dreams, and witness the strength that defines daily existence in such challenging environments.

In the poorest school hope shines brightly

Your journey continues to the poorest school in our area, where despite scarce resources, the light of education and hope shines brightly. Witness the determination of both students and teachers as they strive for a better future against all odds.

The vibrant local market

The vibrant local market stands as a testament to the community’s industrious spirit.

Here, amidst the hustle and bustle, you’ll see the economy of the slums in action, from fresh produce to handmade goods.

Engage with local artisans, the ‘fundies,’ whose handcrafted items tell stories of tradition, survival, and the beauty of making the most out of the least.

A celebration of culture

The tour culminates in a celebration of culture with the Calabash Dance Show, a performance of traditional African dance.

This performance is not just entertainment; it’s an invitation to feel the rhythm of a community that, despite its hardships, is among the most welcoming and joyful you’ll ever encounter.
