A Call for Urgent Action for Flood Victims in mathare slums
Big Floods in Nairobi
Right now, in Nairobi, where our friends and volunteers live in Mathare slums, there’s a lot of rain. So much rain that it’s causing big floods. Houses are underwater, and some people are even getting hurt. It’s really bad because the water washed away a lot of homes where our friends live.
School and Homes are Gone
The school where kids learn every day is gone because it was next to the river, and the water took it away. Our small office is trying to help by giving one or two families a place to stay, but we need to find more places for other families too.
We’re Trying to Help
We at SoulMentor NGO are trying our best to help everyone. We’re giving out clean water, food, and helping hurt people get better. But there’s so much to do, and we don’t have enough things to give to everyone who needs them.

We have now received almost 500 euros, thank you so much. I’m writing this as the plugin is not reflecting what has already been donated. By next week we will make a list of the kind people who have donated so far.
